We asked Undiscovered Alps to provide a walking itinerary suitable for a family with a 6 year old, and they really came up trumps. Each day ended at a lovely refuge with luggage transport arranged (where possible), and yet the paths still took us up to 2,400m so we got excellent glacier and mountain views each day.
