Five Day Tour of the Lac de Serre Poncon

Take a long weekend or try the tour as a part of a weeks holiday in the mountains. A perfect way to get away from it all and explore the wilds above the famous Lac du Serre Poncon. Good hearty fresh air and exercise to energise your soul!
Price Includes:
Good quality mountain bike hire suitable for the terrain (4 days hire)
Fully qualified local and experienced mountain bike guide (your guide will be with you for the duration of the trip)
Baggage transfers each day so you only have to ride with a day sack
2 nights camping accommodation (sharing two people to a tent) on established campsites with good facilities. Tents and sleeping matresses are included but you will need to bring your own sleeping bag or we can hire one for you.
1 nights wild camping accommodation (sharing two people to a tent). You will be sleeping in the woods so there won't be any shower or toilet facilities - you will be 'au naturelle' for one night! You will be using the same tents as on the campsites. They will be brought up to your wild camp spot by the river. .
1 night hotel accommodation this can either be taken at the beginning or end of the tour depending on your travel arrangements. It is possible to add an extra nights accommodation at the same hotel if you would like.
All food, breakfast, lunch and dinner (4 evening meals, 4 breakfasts and 4 lunches)
Choice of 'getting here' transport options.

Self Drive Option
All transport during the bike tour is included. The self drive option is really just if you would prefer the flexibility of getting here in your own car.If you don't want to drive here all the way from the UK, we can organise a hire car for you from any airport or station. It's no problem to leave your car at the hotel whilst you are biking.
Transfers Included Option
These prices include all the transport during the tour as with the self drive option plus a transfer from either Grenoble, Chambery or Marseille airports.Prices are based on a group of 5 or more people. Please contact us if you have a smaller group and we'll give you a personalised quote.

Have a look at the 5 day itinerary in detailThe five day itinerary includes four days of guided mountain biking around the Lac de Serre Poncon on trails, tracks and paths through the wilds of the mountains above the lake, staying somewhere new each night. There are lots of different routes and possibilities so the actual route can be adapted to suit you.
Four nights accommodation are included and you have the option of sleeping an additional night in the hotel at either end of the trip .
