White Water Taster Holiday

Dates Any time from the end of April until August subject to availability.

From £333 per person for a week of white water fun in a choice of self catering or catered accommodation.

Choose from a variety of accommodation and transport options with this holiday to suit your needs, wishes and budget. All options are listed at the bottom of the page. Or contact us to tailor make your holiday.

All prices include:

• 7 nights accommodation in a choice of half board, bed and breakfast or or self catered accommodation

• 6 afternoons on a variety of rivers and lakes in a range of different crafts (see example itinerary) with fully qualified and experienced white water guides and all equipment (wetsuits, helmets, life jackets etc) included.

• 1/2 day on a high ropes adventure course (the biggest in Europe!) - just for change from the water!

• choice of transport options (transfers and local transport to and from activities can either be provided by us or you can self drive)

We use a variety of different rivers, from gentle flowing rivers to those with big white water rapids and drops. The guides will judge which river to use on a daily basis according to the water levels and ability of the group.

Each day you will be offered a choice of different crafts to negotiate the rapids with. Generally the bigger the craft the more stable you are and the smaller the craft the more you feel the rapids! The guides will help you choose to progress at your level throughout the week.

And, as we are privileged to have Europes biggest high ropes adventure course on our doorstep, we have included a taster afternoon here as well! It will give your feet a chance to dry out!

Children must be aged 12 or over for hydrospeed and 8 or over for all other white water activities. All participants must be able to swim.

White Water taster Example Itinerary

We have put together an example itinerary for you so you can get an iddea of what you could be in store for on a white water fun taster week.

But it is not set in stone and we can adapt it to suit you.

It is designed to be progressive so that by the end of the week you are hopefully more in control of the river than it is of you!!

White Water Taster - Self Catering

From £333 per adult and £306 per child for a weeks white water fun staying at Cecile's converted farm house in St Bonnet. This is a self catering option and with a choice of different transport possibilities.

Cecile's farm is a beautiful four bedroomed traditional farm house with a fully equipped kitchen, large open plan dining area and living room with open fire. It is ideal for large groups or families up to 10 people.

White Water Taster - Bed and Breakfast

From £431 per adult and £383 per child for a weeks white water fun staying at La Combe Fleurie bed and breakfast with a choice of half board or bed and breakfast and different transport options.

La Combe Fleurie is a superb bed and breakfast situated in the medieval village of St Bonnet. You are centrally located for all the rivers and have the advantage of beautiful views and a really friendly place to stay!
