St Léger Les Mélèzes is, as its name (Mélèzes means larch) suggests, situated in the middle of a larch forest. It looks over the valley of Champsaur, offering an exceptional panorama.
It faces north west and has a very beautiful ski area with lots of variety, making it a pleasure to ski with young children. There's also a mogul piste and snow park for skiers and snowboarders who want a challenge!
It's not far from
husky dog sledging and ski joering and it's also possible to go paragliding from the top!
There's a creche for babies and non-skiing children as well as a special childrens area on the piste!
The village manages to combine village life with that of a ski resort perfectly. And as a reminder of its past, a château, built in the XIII century, still stands in the centre of the village.
