There are numerous options for self catering in the valley. We have chosen our favourites to show you, but if none of these take your fancy or they are full, we can easily find alternative accommodation in the French Alps.And, to avoid the nightmare of there being nothing to eat in your fridge with all the shops closed when you arrive, we can get your first shop in for you. Just tell us what you want and we'll make sure it's waiting for you when you arrive. It'll cost you just 20 plus the cost of the shopping.

It is situated on the edge of the river Drac just outside the medieval village of St Bonnet.
There are four bedrooms, two double roms and two rooms with three single beds upstairs. The living area downstairs is gorgeous with a large open plan kithcen diner and archway through to the cosy living room with open fire. There are two bathrooms with bath and showers and outside you have your own private garden.
It is fully equipped with all kitchen utensils and cooking facilities (including things you wouldn't even have thought of like a raclette set!). There's microwave, oven, dishwasher.....
It's perfect for a large family or group of friends who want peace and quiet but aren't too far away from all the action and who appreciate nice houses!
Rentals are from Saturday to Saturday.

Chalet Style Apartments
They are based in the village of Chaillol - the sunny side of the valley, close to ski runs and fantastic walks right from your door. Perfect for basking in the sunshine whilst taking in the magnificent views.
Chaillol has a long standing musical relationship with Japan. Every year at the beginning of August the village hosts a music classical / jazz music festival.
There are various apartments and chalets suitable for between 2 and 9 people. All apartments are fitted with TV and DVD, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave oven, hob and fridge freezer and have either a terrace or balcony. Some apartments have open fires.
4 - 5 person apartment: The apartment has one double or twin room, a large open plan living area with comfortable double sofa bed (plus pull out bed for 5 person apt), table and chairs and kitchenette, a separate toilet and bathroom with shower and a lovely south facing balcony. Sleeps up to 4 people.
6 person apartment: The apartment is a large 40m2 one bedroomed apartment with double or twin beds, an open plan living area with kitchenette, two comfortable double sofa beds, a separate toilet and bathroom with shower and south facing terrace. Sleeps up to 6 people
7 person apartment: The apartment is a large 48m2 one bedroomed duplex apartment with double or twin beds, an open plan living area with kitchenette, table and chairs and open fire and one comfortable double sofa bed, a mezzanine area with one double and one single sofa bed, a separate toilet and bathroom with shower and south facing balcony. Sleeps up to 7 people.
8 person apartment: The apartment is a large 66m2 duplex 2 bedroomed apartment with one double and one twin bedroom, an open plan living area with kitchenette, table and chairs and one comfortable double sofa bed, a mezzanine area with one double sofa bed, two separate toilets and 2 bathrooms with showers and south facing terrace. Sleeps up to 8 people
9 person apartment: The apartment is a large 69m2 duplex 2 bedroomed apartment with one double and one twin bedroom, an open plan living area with kitchenette, table and chairs and one comfortable double sofa bed, a mezzanine area with one double and one single sofa bed, two separate toilets and 2 bathrooms with showers and south facing terrace with magnificent views. The house is well decorated and has all mod cons. It sleeps a family of five comfortably in two bedrooms and there is also space for extra people on the sofa beds downstairs. You have your own private garden with barbeque and children's play equipment.
Half way down the Champsaur valley it is ideally situated for both summer and winter activities, with a short drive to the ski villages and Orcieres 1850, walking and mountain biking straight from the door and water and other summer activities only a short drive away.

There are a variety of different sizes of apartments from 2 /3 people to 8 people. They are newly built and nicely decorated inside. The apartments are quite small so it is worth going up a size for the number of people you are - then you have plenty of room.
All the apartments have exclusive use of a heated and covered swimming pool which is beautiful with views of the mountains all around.
