With cross country skiing, ice climbing and snowshoeing straight from the door and just 15 minutes drive from the ski resort of Orcieres 1850 and the ski villages, the Auberge is a great location for a winter activity holiday in the Alps.

This great little
Auberge is newly refurbished in unique style of modern funky decor whilst still retaining it's rustic mountain heritage!
It is situated in the beautiful Champoleon valley just at the entrance to the Ecrins National Park, one of the most dramatic mountain ranges of the French Alps.
It has a very good restaurant, bar, internet access, library and children's play area and some of the most beautiful views in the area!
When you arrive at the Auberge we'll come and meet you to welcome you to the area, explain the week, give you your snowshoes and poles, your activity vouchers and directions and generally aim to take the hassle out of your holiday! We are around all week during your holiday for any questions or queries and for advice on events and sightseeing opportunities in the area.

Transport and Getting Here
The hotel is in the wild and beautiful valley of Champoleon and we recommend you self drive rather than let us drive you to and from the activities if you stay here as public transport is limited and the area has so much to offer and for you to explore in your free time. However, if you plan to base all your activities in the nearby ski resort of Orcieres it is possible to arrange a daily shuttle up to the resort for a small supplement if you prefer not to drive.
