Bed and Breakfast Option

Dates Any time from May until October subject to availability.

The bed and breakfast is a beautifully converted traditional Champsaurian farmhouse situated in a small hamlet at the entrance to the Champsaur valley. You are centrally located for all the activities and have the advantage of beautiful views, peace and quiet and a really friendly place to stay!

Price:

796€ per adult

The price is based on a minimum of four people with two people sharing a twin or double room in the Ferme D'Emile bed and breakfast with the mountain adventure itinerary.

Family rooms are also available and savings can be made by sharing more people to a room.

Price Includes:

7 nights bed and breakfast accommodation staying in La Ferme D'Emile.

1/2 day guided via ferrata

1/2 day guided rock climbing

1 day guided walking, scrambling and climbing on a big mountain route

2 day guided mountaineering trip - ascent of Les Rouies 3589m Involves an overnight in a high mountain refuge, a glacier crossing and some easy scrambling. A big day with spectacular views across the Ecrins.

Maps and route advice for self guided walks and bike rides and advice on markets, events and other things to see and do in the area.

All technical equipment including harnesses, helmets, ice axes and crampons and safety equipment.

It is possible to eat evening meals at the bed and breakfast for 17€ per head. Dominique is a great cook and uses quality local produce and can cater for all dietary requirements.

The guides used for this trip are all fully qualified UIAGM high mountain guides who are local to the area.

When you arrive at your accommodation we will meet you to explain the week and give you maps and directions for getting to the meeting points where you will meet your guides for the day. They are all easy to find so don't worry about getting lost!

We will also suggest walks and other things to do near the meeting points if you would like to have a full day out and give you advice on markets, events and other things to see and do on your free day. There are some beautiful lakes (including a great life-guarded swimming lake), villages, museums, nature walks... And we are in the area throughout your stay for any questions, advice or information.

Transport and Getting Here

We highly recommend you self drive rather than let us drive you to and from the activities for this holiday as the area has so much to offer and for you to explore in your free time.
