The
Shangrila Luxury Chalets are newly built 4* luxury chalets located in the ski village of
Chaillol. They are finished to a very high standard with all mod cons and WiFi, and have open fires. They have south facing terraces and balconies, and the larger 8 person chalets come equipped with their own private hot tub!
The ski village of
Chaillol is on the sunny side of the mountain and goes up to 1990m in altitude. It's small friendly and very pretty - ideal for people wanting a relaxing friendly skiing experience!
Prices Include:

• 4 day ski pass to the five ski villages:
Chaillol, Ancelle, Laye,
Serre Eyraud and
St Leger les Melezes.
• 2 day ski pass to Orcieres 1850

• Leisure card worth 35.50€ per booking for the famous glass walled 'palais du sport' swimming pool, ice skating, bowling and relaxation spa in Orcieres 1850.
• Skiing and piste advice and information on markets, events and other things to see and do in the area.

We'll come and meet you when you arrive in resort and welcome you to the area, give you your ski passes (no queuing at the ticket desk!), take you to the ski shop or pre-order your skis, arrange your activities and generally aim to take the hassle out of your holiday!
The apartments work on a Saturday to Saturday basis (with the exception of Christmas and New Year - please see price table below for exact weeks), but if you want to take advantage of cheaper flights and arrive or leave on a different day, please
contact us. It is possible to organise extra nights either end of a week's holiday in a local hotel or bed and breakfast.

We can also arrange
winter multi activity holidays for non-skiers if you want a less skiing and more activity / snowshoeing based holiday.
Getting Here and Transport
For the ski villages we recommend having a car so you can visit the other villages and get around to restaurants, shops and other attractions in the valley.
There are lots of different options for getting here and we will help you plan and book your journey wherever possible. We can arrange transfers or car hire from nearby airports and train stations, rail transport and ferry crossings but can't book flights. However, we can help you with information about who flies where so you can book your own.

** Please note that as Christmas falls on a Sunday this year, Christmas week is based on a 9 night stay with 8 days ski pass and equipment hire (Sat - Mon) and New Year week is Monday to Monday. After that it reverts back to Saturday to Saturday.
Useful info
When you arrive in resort you will be asked to pay the local tourist tax of 0.65€ per adult per day.
You will also be asked to pay a refundable security deposit of €300 when you check in. And at the end of your stay you can either clean the apartment yourselves or you can opt to pay for a cleaning service which is also payable locally.
