Situated at the foot of the dramatic Pic du Gleize and Aguille mountains, Laye may be the smallest of the village resorts, but it’s not easily forgotton! At 1300m - 1950m of altitude this small ski area has preserved its traditional charm and character. Ski here through the heart of the forest and take in its special ambience.
There is a 'jardin des neiges' on the piste for small children and a ski school in resort.
It’s a really friendly resort with small residences and chalets, a hotel and a restaurant-bar. And just nearby is the ‘fromagerie’, a working dairy with a restaurant attached. So if you like cheese, then this is a good place to try for dinner and souvenir food shopping! You eat well in Laye!
