Choose from a variety of accommodation and transport options with this holiday to suit your needs, wishes and budget. All options are listed at the bottom of the page. Or contact us to tailor make your holiday.

All prices include:

• 7 nights accommodation in a choice of half board, bed and breakfast or or self catered accommodation

• 5 half days progressive kayaking sessions on a variety of rivers and lakes (see example itinerary) with fully qualified and experienced white water guides and all equipment (kayaks, paddles, wetsuits, helmets, life jackets etc) included. You can bring your own kayak if you prefer.

• half day on a high ropes adventure course (the biggest in Europe!) - just for change from the water!

• choice of transport options (local transport to and from activities can either be provided by us or you can self drive)

The week starts on flat water on one of our beautiful alpine lakes, where you will learn the basics of how to control your kayak! Before kayaking the rapids, you will get a taste of the white stuff in one of several inflatable crafts!

And then the next stage is to try and join your newfound skill and knowledge together and take your kayak onto the river. To start with the guides will take you down gentle rapids to practice ferry gliding, breaking in and out, surfing and maybe mastering a few tricks! And then once you are all feeling confident you will do a full river descent!

We have several grade 2 - 3 rivers that are perfect for beginner kayakers and at the end of the week if you fancy a blast down a more technical river then you can have a go in a raft or inflatable canoe!

All our kayak instructors are fully qualified to French and European standards and are all well traveled and experienced kayakers.

And, as we are privileged to have Europe's biggest high ropes adventure course on our doorstep, we have included a taster afternoon here as well! It will give your feet a chance to dry out!

Children must be aged 8 or over and all participants must be able to swim.

But it is not set in stone and we will adapt it to suit you.

It is designed to be progressive so that by the end of the week you are hopefully more in control of the river than it is of you!!
