795€ per person for a weeks white water kayaking for beginners in the Alps staying half board in a beautiful chalet style youth hostel.
A week of alpine paddling with qualified instructors to guide you on the rivers and improve your kayaking skills against a backdrop of dramatic mountain scenery, lovely clear water and beautiful sunshine!

The
youth hostel is beautifully refurbished in a chalet style and has a range of bedrooms to choose from. The sanitary facilities are shared but are well maintained and clean. There are excellent communal facilities including a lounge with leather sofas, a TV room, a children's area, a magnificent restaurant and breakfast room plus a bar with mountain views. There is also an outside sun terrace.
The price is based on sharing a twin or double room and is on a half board basis so your evening meals and breakfast are included. Meals are very good, with a choice of menu and are served in a buffet style.
It is situated in a pretty alpine village in the heart of the Champsaur valley within easy access of the kayaking and with beautiful mountain views. The village has a range of shops, restaurants and bars and a regular market.

7 nights half board accommodation sharing two to a room in a quality chalet style
youth hostel. Single supplement for your own room is 10€ per night.

5 half days kayaking sessions on a variety of rivers (see example itinerary) with fully qualified and experienced kayak instructors. Instructor ratio for all rivers of grade III+ is 1:4.

All equipment (kayaks, paddles, wetsuits, helmets, life jackets etc) included. You can bring your own kayak and personal equipment if you prefer.

Transport to and from the kayaking sessions.
•
Return transfers from Gap train station.
