Snow cocktail!
Champoleon
In all the ski villages and the valley of Champoleon, this is a fantastic celebratory weekend! Tasters of a variety of snow activities on offer including husky sledding, guided snowshoe walks, nordic walking, cross country skiing, ski joering, ice climbing ... and all with a festive atmosphere... hot pots, fireworks and concerts...!

9 - 10th January
Natural Ice Skating!
St Bonnet - Natural Ice skating rink du Bouscon from 14h to 18h and nocturnal evening on Saturday from 20h to 22h.
Ice skating on a traditional natural frozen lake with music - like old times! crepes and hot chocolates available. Ice skates available.

16 - 17th January
Husky Sledding and Ski Joering races
Base de Loisirs in Orcieres.
Ski joering and husky sledding races on Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning. A fantastic spectacle. Taster sessions and easy, fun courses also available.

24 - 29th January
French 'unss' Ski Championships
Orcieres 1850.
With over 400 participants from participating schools and colleges, this is a spectacular skiing competition with top quality skiers.

26 - 29th January
33rd croissiere blanche
Orcieres.
The famous international 4x4 all terrain snow race. Quads, trail bikes and 4x4 vehicules race over snowy mountain trails, paths and roads. Participants come from all over the world to participate.

29th January
Classic Car Winter Drive!
Base de Loisirs in Orcieres.
Winter drive in collector classic cars on the ice circuit in the base de loisirs in orcieres. Organised by the APAR association.

30th January
Nordic Festival
Champoleon
Organised by the PACA region and Hautes Alpes cross country skiing this is a great day of cross country skiing. Workshops, routes and instructors on tap to help you learn the basics, progress and develop your cross country skiing to achieve the 'Festi-nordic certificate!'

30th - 31st January
French National Quad Championship
Base de Loisirs in Orcieres.
French quad biking championship on 1000m of ice course at the Base de Loisirs. Participants come from all over France.
