Fixed Dates: 24 - 28 January 2013 PLACES AVAILABLE - ideal for individuals looking to join a group (min group size of 4).
Other Dates: December - End of March - groups of two or more booking together.
Price Includes:
• 4 nights half board accommodation in a fantastic
Auberge in the heart of the mountains on the edge of the Ecrins National Park.
• 3 full days guided ice climbing with fully qualified UIAGM high mountain guides. Ratio max 1:6 for 1st day and 1:2 for 2nd and 3rd days.
• All technical and safety equipment. You will need your own personal clothing and mountaineering / ice climbing boots. It is possible to hire boots if you don't have them.
• Return transfers from Gap train station.
• Transport to and from the ice climbing.
This is a progressive course where you will learn the basics of ice safety and security and essential ice climbing techniques. After an intensive introduction on your first day, you will split into pairs of matching ability and explore more challenging multi pitch routes. We have a wealth of ice falls, gullies and ice cliffs to choose from including several world famous sites so there is something for everyone! Please have a look at our

You don't need to have had any previous ice climbing experience to come on this trip but will need a reasonable level of fitness.

Prices are per person and are based on two people sharing a room. Single rooms are possible for a single supplement of 15€ per night.

We can accept both pounds sterling and euro payments.
If you are an individual booking on to the fixed dates holiday on the 21 - 25 January 2011 the price is the 4 person price and the holiday is subject to a minimum group size of 4. If for any reason you book and there aren't enough people to fill the trip, you will be offered the choice of canceling your holiday with a full refund or paying a surcharge equivalent to your group size.
