10th February
Easy Traverse of the Haute Champsaur
Champoleon
A cross country skiing event for all levels. There are two routes: 5 and 10 km. 10 km route : from Champoléon to Pont du Fosse with two big ascents and fantastic descents. The 5km course starts at the turn off into Champoleon around Pont du Corbiere and finishes with the 10km at Pont du Fosse. Collect your number at the Augberge des ecrins at 13:30. There is a return transfer at the end of the event. Reservations required.

Natural Ice Skating!
La Chapelle in Valgaudemar
A day to find out about life in winter in the valley of Valgaudemar. Programme : 9h30 meet at La Chapelle-en-Valgaudemar for a snowshoe walk around the village of Les Portes and at the site of Les Oules du diable. At 13h lunch at the Val des Sources and from 14h30 to 16h, meet Bruno for an afternoon of discussion and storytelling. 40€ per person

11th February
Torchlit descent of the pistes

A torchlit descent of the pistes by the ski school at the Taillas in Ancelle - beautiful display!

12th February
The little ones' torchhlit descent!

A children's event where they can do a tour of the pistes with a lantern.

13 - 14 February
SSV Ice Buggy
Orcieres 1850
SSV Ice buggy races (vehicle in between a quad and a buggy) Free entry. Participants must have their driving ability tested before the races.

15th February
Sledging Race
Ancelle 17:15
Meeting place - at the chairlift. Bring your sledges for an hour if good hearted fun. Refreshments given to participants.

15th February
Moonlit snowshoeing
Ancelle 20:30
Led by a local mountain leader ( 'accompagnateur en montagne') this is a lovely snowshoe walk under the moonlight for all abilities.

16th February
Fancy dress skiing
Ancelle
A jury will be out all day inspecting the pistes for the best costume. Awards ceremony at 17:30!

17th February
Family Fun Day
Orcieres
A day of snowy fun for all the family! From 10:30 - 17:30 join in a variety of events and entertainment for free. Pom 'Potes compotes and other snacks available for tasting as well as the possibility of winning an avalanche of pressies!

18th February
Sustainable development workshop
Laye
A day of awareness raising for sustainable development in the mountains with displays, workshops, videos and quizzes.

19th February
The little ones' torchhlit descent!
Ancelle 20hr30.
A children's event where they can do a tour of the pistes with a lantern.

20th - 21st February
The Valgaudemar Husky Sledding Event
La Chapelle-en-Valgaudemar
Ski joering and husky sledding races, taster sessions for children and information, displays and entertainment by the Ecrins National Park and local mountain leaders.

21st February
A festive biathlon!
Saint Jean Saint Nicolas
Learn the basics of cross country skiing and archery in the morning and then test yourself against everyone else in the afternoon! Open to everyone - equipment available. Reserve on the day!

22nd February
Moonlit snowshoeing
Ancelle 20:30
Led by a local mountain leader ( 'accompagnateur en montagne') this is a lovely snowshoe walk under the moonlight for all abilities.

23rd February
Fire-dance
Orcieres 1850 at the foot of the pistes
An evening's entertainment of dance with fire torches by the Salamandre dance company.

24th February
Moonlit cross country skiing race
Champoleon
A fun and friendly moonlit cross country skiing race for all levels. Skis available to rent. 18hr children's relay race in teams of three, 18:30 adults relay race in teams of two and at 19:00 the pros relay race in teams of two. at 19:30 prize giving with mulled wine followed by a meal and concert at the Auberge des Ecrins.
