Chalets du Tourond - Snowshoeing

From £265 per person for a weeks guided snowshoeing including:

• 7 nights self catering accommodation.

• 4 half days guided snowshoeing (or 3 half days and a moonlit snowshoe walk!)

• 2 full days guided snowshoeing

• Snowshoes and poles for 6 days

• Choice of transport options (transfers and local transport to and from the snowshoe walks can either be provided by us or you can self drive).

The Chalets du Tourond are newly built apartments situated in the ski village of Chaillol.

All the apartments are furnished in a chalet style and have south facing balconies. The facilities are excellent: washing machine, hob, dishwasher, combination microwave oven, fridge and all kitchen crockery and utensils. Some apartments have an open fire. These prices are based on maximum capacity in the apartments. So for example, in a 2 roomed apartment for four people, there would be four people sharing. It is possible to upgrade to a bigger apartment if you would like a bit more space. Just contact us and we'll do you a quote.

The Chalets du Tourond work on a Saturday to Saturday basis, but if you want to take advantage of cheaper flights and arrive or leave on a different day, please contact us. It is possible to organise extra nights either end of a week's holiday in a local hotel or bed and breakfast.

Self Drive PRICES 2008/9

If you prefer the flexibility of having your own car so you can visit the region; go to restaurants, spend a morning at the swimming pool or visit the markets, when you aren't snowshoeing through the winter wilderness, then this option is for you .

If you don't want to drive here all the way from the UK, we can organise a hire car for you from any airport or station.

When you arrive at your accommodation we will meet you to explain the week and give you maps and directions for getting to the snowshoe walks. They are all easy to find so don't worry about getting lost!

Transport Included PRICES 2008/9

If driving abroad isn't your thing or you would much rather let someone else do it all, then this is for you. The price includes the same holiday as above plus a transfer from either Grenoble, Chambery or Marseille airports and transport to and from all the snowshoe walks.
