Self Drive Option
If you prefer the flexibility of having your own car so you can escape the hustle bustle of the resort and visit the region when you aren't scaling ice falls or snowshoeing through the wilderness then this option is for you. The self drive prices include the activities and accommodation but you would need to drive yourself to the activity meeting points. Most of the activities with the exception of ice climbing, snowshoeing and cross country skiing are based in Orcieres 1850, so you won't need to do too much driving. If you don't want to drive here all the way from the UK, we can organise a hire car for you from any airport or station. When you arrive at your apartment we will meet you to explain the week and give you maps and directions for getting to the activities. They are all easy to find so don't worry about getting lost!Transport Included Option
If driving abroad isn't your thing or you would much rather let someone else do it all, then this is for you. The price includes the same holiday as above plus a transfer from either Grenoble, Chambery or Marseille airports and transport to and from all the scheduled activities. There are a several bars, restaurants, leisure facilities and shops in the resort to choose from so you don't really need a car. However, if you would like to visit the region whilst you are here, we can organise local taxis for you,Getting Here

These prices are based on maximum capacity in the apartments. So for example, in a 2 roomed apartment for four people, there would be four people sharing. Have a look at the Balcons du Soleil for more information on apartment sizes. It is possible to upgrade to a bigger apartment if you would like a bit more space. Useful info
When you arrive in resort you will be asked to pay the local tourist tax of 0.65 per adult per day. You will also be asked to pay a refundable security deposit of 350 when you check in.
