The
Auberge is a great place situated in the wild and remote alpine valley of Champoleon. It was recently renovated in a modern style but still manages to retain some of it's old mountain heritage! It is now managed by a great team of passionate individuals, headed up by Stephanie and Laurent.
The food is excellent and there is a bar, internet access, library and children's play area and some of the most beautiful views in the area! It is in a great location for the winter activities, and if you are looking for somewhere with peace and quiet, while close to all the amenities and activities, this is for you!
The rooms are clean and comfortable and come in various sizes from double or twin rooms to large family rooms - all with en-suite bathrooms with either shower or bath.

We'll come and meet you when you arrive and welcome you to the area, give you your ski passes (no queuing at the ticket desk!), pre-book your skis, organise your activities and generally aim to take the hassle out of your holiday!
We are around for advice on where the best pistes are, where to eat for lunch, shop and generally make the most of the resort and area.

Useful info
When you arrive in resort you will be asked to pay the local tourist tax of 0.65€ per adult per day.

Getting Here
There are lots of different options for getting here and we will help you plan and book your journey wherever possible. There are cheap public transfers from Marseille and Grenoble airports and Aix-en-Provence and Grenoble TGV train stations. We can also arrange private transfers from nearby airports and train stations, rail transport, ferry crossings and car hire but can't book flights. However, we can help you with information about who flies where so you can book your own.
We highly recommend having your own transport while here, as it is the best way to get up and down to Orcieres, and makes for the best way to experience everything the area has to offer.
